Unge Drabanter is a whiskey tasting club platform I designed and built from the ground up — a three-year project that grew from a simple idea into a fully featured community hub. From April 2022 to April 2025, I owned every layer of the stack: content modelling in Sanity, a Next.js frontend, authentication with NextAuth, and a polished UI built with Tailwind CSS, Headless UI, and Framer Motion.
The platform gives members a place to log tasting notes, explore whiskeys and distilleries, track club events, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. I engineered the entire data model in TypeScript — distilleries, regions, taste profiles, attendance records — so the experience feels personal and structured at the same time.
Three years is a long time to live with a project, and it shows. The codebase is clean, the community is active, and every feature was shaped by real member feedback. It's the kind of long-running build I'm most proud of — one that actually gets used.
