Unge Drabanter
As the designer and developer for "Unge Drabanter," a Norwegian whiskey club, I built a complete digital platform for members to connect, learn, and share their passion. My role spanned the full project lifecycle, from UI/UX design to backend architecture and frontend development.
The backbone of the platform is a sophisticated content model I engineered in Sanity.io. After cleaning and migrating the club's existing data, I designed and implemented detailed schemas for a wide range of interconnected information: whiskeys, distilleries, regions, member profiles, taste notes, event details, and even attendance records. This structured data became the engine for the entire user experience.
On the frontend, I used Next.js and Tailwind CSS to build a fast, responsive interface, managing the entire project in a monorepo that included the Sanity Studio configuration. This setup allows members to dynamically browse and filter whiskeys, track their personal tasting journey, and engage with club events. The platform now serves as the club's central resource, successfully fostering a more engaged and connected community.
